Get a new web host!

I’m not a whiner! But I had a tough week at the end of December. My site was down or so slow it might as well have been down for more than eight days! Multiple daily email messages to and from tech support resulted only in credits to my hosting costs and thanks for ‘being so patient.’ Phone calls resulted in the same. It was determined that my site was on an overloaded server and needed to be moved. Fine, when could that be accomplished I asked. Well, it turned out there were a lot of people who needed to be moved and it might take a month!!!! No kidding! Continue Reading »

No new year’s resolution — but better!

How about a life list of adventures?Read through last year’s Outside Magazine’s adventure list of 50 adventures and come up with a few of your own. Don’t think that you have to be an extreme sports athlete to enjoy an adventure. Note that even Outside’s list has a few random adventures thrown in, such as watching a child do something.The same list even has 15 fitness tips to help you get into shape — just in case you decide to select one of their adventures!
